Agar hum kahen aur woh muskra dey,
Hum unkay liyey zindgaani luta dey,
Har ik mod par hum gamon ko saza dey,
Chalo zindagi ko mohabbat bana dey !

[If I ask her to smile and she Does smile,
I will sacrifice my whole life for her,
Let us punish the sorrows at every step of our life,
And let us make the life a loving one !]

Agar khud ko bhoolay, to kuch bhi na bhoolay,
Ki chaahat mein unki khuda ko bhula dey !

[If I forget myself, that doesn't mean anything,
But in her Love, I have even forgotten the God !]

Kabhi gham ki aandi jinay choo na payey,
Wafaon kay hum woh nash-e-man bana dey !

[Those which can never be touched by storms of sorrow,
Let us make such homes of trust and sincerity !]

Qayaamat kay deewanay kehtay hain humsay,
Chalo unkay chehray say parda hata dey !

[Fans of Judgement-day tell us,
Let us go and remove the veil from her face !]

Saza dey sila dey, bana dey mita dey,
Magar woh koi faisla to suna dey !

[Punish me, give me something in return, make me or break me,
But let her at least make any decision !] (NM)

Dil ne yeh kya suna hai,

Chupke chupke

Sub ko bhulaya hai,

Ab is dil ne.

 

Yeh kya hua hai

Ab is dil ko

Jo sari jaha ko

Bhula gaya hai.

 

Ankhon main aasu

Kaante dil main chunna hai

Koi na ab hai

is dunya mai humara.

 

Tutay huwe vaday sab hai

sara jaha lagay hum ko anjana

ek dhoka bus ek dhoka!

kash yeh na hota humko

 

Ankhon mai asu hai kaise

Kaha ko gaye hai hum

Doob raha hai ahista

Yeh sab dosh hai tumhara.

 

Kaha hai voh loog

Jin pay tha barosa

Ek tafa hai ajnabi

Ek pal main anjana

 

Lagtha hai ab aise

Jese mout aa chuki hai

Aas pass kahi par,

Koi tho darvaza khula hoga.

 

Lekin yeh na,

manzor hai hame.

Aap vaha muskuraye,

Aur hum yaha, aapke geet gaye

 

Is dunya main, akele kya karu

kis ko kya mai kaise bathau

dil pay humaray kya guzar raha hai

koi tho hum ko de sahara.

 

kese ji gaye hum

ab tumhare bina

aaphi batou sanam kaise

je jayenge hum.

 

haan aapke bina sanam,

phir be muskura rahe hain

Jaha raaz ko chupana jaya

Zindegi main voh mukaam aaya hai.
