Teri baat aaj phir labo pe aa hi gai.
tu phir dil k kisi kone me samaa hi gai
bhulana chaha tujhe
mitana chaha tujhe
kisi veerane me dafnana bhi chahaa
par tu usi kabra pe apni imarat bana hi gai!

aankhe bhi thak chuki thi
ansu ki rekha tham chuki thi
par tu thaki aankho me bhi wo aansu laa hi gai!

khwabo ki dor kat si gai thi
neend bhi in aankho se hat si gai thi
par tu in kate dor par bhi kuchh khwaab saja hi gai!


dhadkano ke darwaje band kiye baithe the
har halchal ko mand kiye baithe the
par tu darwajo par dastak mahsus kara hi gai


tere sang hi yaari thi
tujh bin sab begari thi
tu akar ye begari fir badha hi gai

 Tujhe alvida kaha tha
teri yaado ko vida karna chaha tha
par tu aake in yaado ko waal-e-kum assalam kara hi gai!!
