zuba pe dard hothon pe hasi ajab waakya oos raat tha
surkh mehndi rachi odha tha reshmi chunar oonka chehra bada hi lajawaab tha

roye toh sab thay kar k rukhsat oonhe par jab woh roye to oosme bhi ek raaz tha
woh roye bahut hum muskuraate rahe koi samajh na saka kii dard behisaab tha

woh bhi rukhsat huye hum bhi jaane lage kii kagaaz oonhone tha pakda diya
aankhe pathra gayi thi pad kar oose gajab tha oosne jo dha diya

band palkon se bhi dekhti woh rahi zeher ka na koi ab ilaaz tha
kii maine sambhala oose,oosne bas yeh kaha main thi bas teri aur tu mera sartaaz tha
