raat aayi derd ki chader liye
soye raho, ye bojh palko per liye

raaste me mujhko begher dekh ker
dost aaye haath me pather liye

aaj uske saamne jayenge hum
apne hi haatho me apna sir liye

meri aankhe umer bher hasti rahi
ek suhane khawaab ka manzer liye

log aapas me gale milte rahe
aastino me chupe hue khanjer liye

gardishe to ek bahana thi mager
khawahishe phirti rahi der der liye

shayeri, awaargi, deewangi
her trah ke kaam humne ker liye

baithe rahe mehfil mein khali jaam liye.....
dhalti dikh rahi hai zindagi ki ghadiyan...
koi aa raha haathon mein maut ka paigaam liye.......

darte darte achanak ek haath utha khanjer chala
dosti ke naam per kata gaya phir koi gala

log bahre ho gaye hai, koi sunta hi nahi
cheekhta hai ek andha, kar bhala so ho bhala

poochta firta hu apne gher ka logo se pata
mere jaisa shaher me koi nahi hai manchala

rasmo ke naam per nazdeek hai hum tum mager
din ba din badhta hi jata hai dilo ka fasla

shaam gahri ho rahi hai aao gher loute 'samnoj'
dil bhi shayeri se uktaya, hai suraj bhi dhala
