Tere bin zindagi adhuri lagti hai..
Jism se jaan ki ab doori lagti hai.

Maut  heen  hai ab mere aass pass..
Mohabbat main ab ae jaruri lagti hai.

Pal-pal khamosh ho rahi dhadkane meri.
Tere bin jina bhi majburi lagti hai..

Kya hua  jo  door  tum chale gaye..
Dosti ki bazm bhi ab be-nuri lagti hai.

Tumhi lafaz, tumhi geet  the mere..
Ab to meri Ghazalen bhi suneri lagti hai.
