Kaee mautein mara tumhare intezar mein,
jeene ab laga tha ki tum aa gaye,

ishq ne dard ko mere sar kar diya,
sambhalne laga tha ki tum aa gaye

andheron mein bhataka jo itne din
roshni ki simt chala ki tum aa gaye.

Barat raha tha tumhari tarah mujhse waqt
waqt badal raha tha ki tum aa gaye

vaade vo adhure bhoolna chaha jinhe,
goum ho rahe the ki tum aa gaye
