uska paigaam aaya ek din,
jab padha ,to padhte hi rone lage they,

likha jo usne apne napaak iraado ko is kader,
hamare zakham fir se hare hone lage they,

jin khuwabo ko mitta diya hamne kabhi,
wohi tanha e raat ke khuwab satane lage they,

zisam main uske liye jo armaan or ehsaas they kabhi,
woh jalil na ho mehfil main,hum khud ko beijjat karne lage they,

anchaahe bard jo dil main ubharte they kabhi,
bhool jane ke liye jaam se dosti karne lage they,

jo sajish ki thi usne hum bekhaber rahe,
hum to aanhe bharte huye uska intzaar karne lage they,

mitane main lag gaye they hum uske har pal ko,
 kehti thi main tera saya hu,hum apne saaye se takraar karne lage they,

usne ki bewaffai waffa ke naam se,
hum bhi waffa ki khatir hath mout ka thamne lage they,,,
