Kabhi wo mehfil me bhi mere sath rehta tha,
Ab to tanhai me bhi sath dena wo jaruri nahi samajhta.

Kabhi wo har pal mujhe kuch na kuch samjhata tha,
Ab to meri nadani me bhi mujhe samjhana wo jaruri nahi samajhta.

Mere gam me sharik hona, meri khushi ko apna kehna-
Ye uski dosti thi ya dikhawa- main nahi jaanta.
Ab to mujhe tadapte dekh kar bhi gale lagana wo jaruri nahi samajhta.
