Tume bhi kabhi tanhayi meri yaad aati to hogi,
Ansoon ban kar teri ankhon me woh beheti to hogi,

Dunyia ke liye chahe pattar dil bane tum,
Par judai tere dil pe apna roop jamati to hogi,

Mere saath chalna tume gawara nahin tha,
Par meri duaon ki roshni tume rasta dikhati to hogi,

Lak chupa lo ehesas-e-mohabbat ko tum,
Par tanhai me ek gutan si mehesoos hoti to hogi!

zindagi ne saza suna di hai,

chup rahoon gi jo kahega koi tujh ko bewafa
is se badh kar teri ruswai na hone doon gi
yaad aaoon gi tujhe ache dinoo ki sorat
mein mukamal teri tanahi na hone doon gi
