                   Zara paas aake dekh meri tanhaai…sahal

Husnwale teri wafa na raas aai,
Zara paas aake dekh meri tanhaai.

Hai kitni bachaini mere bister mein,
kabhi Zara odh ke dekh meri razaai.

Kitni ghutan hoti hai meri saanson mein,
aake dekh Kabhi ek pal ko meri ruswaai.

Meri jholi mein khanakte hai ghamon ke sikkay,
Zara aa ke dekh kabhi meri umr bhar ki kamaai.

Hasti hai mujh pe kitna meri lachaargi aksar,
Kabhi aake dekh kitna rulati hai teri bewafaai.

Poochtay hai aksar mere halaat mujhse,
“sahal”Umr aakhir tune aisi kyun hai gawaai.
