Never reached

I was standing on a strange path of life
It felt like I was chained in to the
Darkness of nights
Life was so meaningless, I didn’t have
Anything or anyone to live for
I was a stranger walking in my own home
The loneliness of my days and nights was
So deep that I could hear my heart break
Over and over again
All I had was hurtful memories of my past
Walking trough the crowded world my
Eyes longed for happiness that I have
Never reached
