Main bhi to ek bachcha hoon...!!

I never planned to write this...I am at work, reading some scientific papers, having tea...and suddenly thought of poor children working in small road side hotels......The truth is after writing this, i am left with tears in my eyes !

Sheeshe ke uss paar, sadak ke kinaare
Dekhta hoon, bachche hanste muskurate

Kaandhon pe school ka basta liye hue
Kabhi daudte hue, kabhi shor machaate

Kabhi koi zid karte hue maa baap se
Kabhi chupchap unki ungliyaan thaame

Aate hue, jaate hue dikhte hain roz
Hotel ke sheeshe ke iss paar se mujhe

Din shuru, raat khatm hoti hain yahin
Mez se logon ke joothe bartan uthaate

Kabhi daant to kabhi fatkaar sunte hue
Kabhi kisi grahak ki gaaliyaan khaate

Iss hotel ke bahar kya kabhi aaunga
Sochta hoon kai baar sadak ko dekhte

Haathon main khilaune aaye nahin kabhi
Dekha hai inhe maine bas bartan uthaate

Kyun bhagwaan ne banaya hai mujhe aisa
Nahin hain maa baap, jo pyar lutaate

Main bhi to ek chota sa bachcha hoon
Kyun nahin rehta main hanste muskuraate

Talat di.. very nice.. same here aaj mera bhi dil issi wajah se udas hua ja rah hai.. aatak, paap , khoon karaba.. nafrat... bas yahi reh gaya hia duniyan mein... I really liked this poem.. really very touching...
