Hi,salaam,namaste
My name is Ziyaad,I'm from South Africa.Unfortunately will be unable to post anything in urdu,as my understanding of the language is limited.I litterally stumbled on this site,when looking for shayari for my wifes birthday,I always wrote her english poetry,and alway's wondered why she showed no appreciation for it.It seems urdu moves her more then english.Yet i feel words no matter what language have the power to move,as long as they are filled with emotions that are true, and reflect the passion of the writer,speaker or translater.I wish i had some words to post but i require an enormous emotional build up before the dam walls restricting my creativity(if it can be called that)burst.

Like so many others here just looking for people who share similar interests,and can gauge if there's anything good in my poems.

I am highly sentimental and very emotional,love honesty and find beauty in all that god has created.

I do agree that words have power no matter which langauge they belongs !

aor agar words apni matri bhasha mai ho to kahne kaya!!

I am in USA from last 12 years, most of the time I speak english here.. but still jo feelings Hindi/punjabi/urdu ki poetry pard kar atti hai wo English poetry se nahi....

Baki apni apni soch...

Apka yo-family mai sawagat hai!!!

sorry for never posting a vote of thanks,After spending time here i can only say i really like being part of this wonderful community.Special thanks to Ricky,roja,pooja,sanya as well all those others that i've had the pleasure of communicating with.Yoindia has given my time online purpose,i wonder if there was a platform where we can share experiences of life in our perspective countries,i personally would like to learn about life in India,as well as how does it feel to live in a place foriegn to that of ones birth(ricky you guide me here).I've only known South Africa,i did stay a while in Kenya(about a year)but SA is all i know,so am very curious about India as well any other places that yoindians call home.Havin great fun hope it continues,and hope my new teacher "hindi ki sikhana"i think sorry but lovin this new horizon
