I wanna know how google adsense works and how much actually they pay and is there any requirement to become part of it ?

Well..
In google adsense you don't need to have any specific requirements but your site should be descently designed and is rich in content.

Google adsense is a very good program which pays you on the basis of unique clicks it get on the ads on your site. It deliver ads according to the content of the page.
How much they pay is dependent on advertiser.

But when i was trying to put alternat url for ads in google adsense it was showing unexpeted part of my page.. Wht should use there ?

Well..
I suggest you to make a banner of the size which ads you are going to use on you site..
say you are going to use 468 x 60 Banner then make a banner and store it on your webserver and give its urs as alternat url..
