In my experience... as i have studied in a Co-ed school... since my Kindnergarten... Friendship wbetween gals and guys is possible n it remains there for a long time.
Abt it ending into a relationship of Love not necessarily a BF-GF relation, it may end up in a Bro-sis relation too, it depends how the things go in the friendship.
And Love is there in every good relation... and as Phonu baba said theres a thin line between Love n True friendship and its the matter of feeling. IF u got 2-3 gals as friend bu never fall in love with every gal. it depends on the intensity.

and a very diff situation when a gu-gal are freinds.
in that way we on yoindia are friends and so amny gals and guys are there ... but the freindship is more of flirting than wht a guy-guy or gal-gal friendship is.
don't get me wrong any one ... guy n a gal can be friends ... but that flirty attitude is always there ... eevn if it dosent end up into a so called BF GF relation ...!
That friendship is a cocktail of freindship and flirting. Its natural and its real.
No personal matter plz ... i'm saying in a avery general way.
