आग है ख़ूब थोड़ा पानी है
ये यहाँ रोज़ की कहानी है

ख़ुद से करना है क़त्ल ख़ुद को ही
और ख़ुद लाश भी उठानी है

ये ही कहने में कट गए दो दिन
चार ही दिन की ज़िंदगानी है

पी गए रेत तिश्नगी में लोग
शोर उट्ठा था यां पे पानी है
