aage bare na qissa-e-ishq-e-butan se ham
sab kuch kaha magar na khule razdan se ham

ab bhagte hain saya-e-ishq-e-butan se ham
kuch dil se hain dare hue kuch asman se ham

hanste hain us k giriya-e-beikhtiyar par
bhule hain bat kah k koi razadan se ham

ab shauq se bigar k baten kiya karo
kuch pa gaye hain ap ki tarz-e-bayan se ham

jannat mein tu nahin agar ye zakhm-e-teg-e-ishq
badlenge tujhko zindagi-e-jawidan se ham
