Gar chaho keh aada kar sako tum qimat-e-dil
To tasawur ky garaaNqadar aainooN mein basi
Ik khamoosh si beloos ibarat parh loo
Jis ka mafhoom agar samjhoo to behad sada he
Har tahayyul ki bulandi par he mehwe parwaaz
Dil ki qeemat nah kabhi saim-o-jawahir mein mili
Nah hi yeh bandish-e-khalat-e-zamanah mein mili
Kiss ny dekha he kissi phool ki khushboo ko kabhi
koon chhoo sakta he parbat ki sadaooN ko kabhi
Kiya kissi aankh sy ly sakty ho tum aansoo ko kabhi
Kiya chura sakty ho tarooN sy us ki kirnooN ko kabhi
Phir bhi chahoo keh adaa kar sakoo tum qeemat-e-dil
Pyar ki aanch mein jal gaye lamhe la do
Tumhari yaad mein chhalkty hain jo aansoo la do
