Bahut waqt ke baad is section meN aaya huN, dekha mera bina soona sa ho gaya tha, ek choti si ghazal pesh-e-khidmat hogi...

Shaam e gham jab bikhar gai ho gi
janay kis kis kay ghar gai ho gi ?

itni larzaan na thi chiraagh ki lau,
apnay saye say dar gayee ho gi

chandini ik shab ki mehmaan thi
subah hootay hi mar gayi ho gi

dair tuk wo khafa rahay hum se
door tuk ye khabar gayi ho gi

aik darya ka rukh badaltay hi
aik nadi phir utar gayi ho gi

jiss tarhaan woh safar pe nikla tha
sari rounaq udhar gayi ho gi

raat souraj ko dhoondnay kay liye
ta ba hud e sehar gayi ho gi

mairi yadoon ki dhoop chaoon mein
uss ki sourat nikhar gayi ho gi

ya taluq na nibha saka uss say
ya tabiyaat hi bhar gayi ho gi

tairi pal bhar ki dosti mohsin,
uss ko badnaam kar gayi ho gi
