I wish to know and suggest the following:

1.  Kindly explain me is the difference between "Show Unread" and "Show Replies" appearing on the front page.  I have tried to understand but could not do so.

2.  Is there any feature by which we could read only the new shayari/topics posted.  This shayari should remain there unless read.  Yes there is a feature "Latest poetry/shayari" on the front page which contains 15 topics scrolling down.  If one could not see the poem, then it should remain there in the above list unless it is read.  This is particularly to ensure that only the new poetry should remain there and it should not be repeated in that list with the posting of new replies.

The above feature shall ensure that all the new poems are read or atleast seen by a particular reader interested in shayari.

Hope the Admin would kindly do the needful.

Sarvesh Ji,

"Show Replies" are those threads where you have replied or commented before and now someone else has replied/ commented there.

"Show Unread" means, whatever new posts have been made since your last visit (or since you last marked unread posts as read). You may or may not have replied or commented in those threads. These also include any new thread.

As far as your other query is concerned, I think there is, at the moment, no option other than those on main page that might show just the new threads.

Thanks Celmira Ji
In the "show unread" can the new poems/topics be readily distinguished (without opening each and every post) so that one could read only the unread poems.

You are welcome Sir

I am afriad, Sarvesh Ji, you have to see yourself which are new poems. But I don't think you have to open each and every post to check new poems........there are only few new poems/threads posted everyday (and will be with few or no replies), rest of the posts are the mostly the old posts.

Thank you Celmira for explaining here.

However, Mr. Rastogi I had same in mind and had worked on it too a little but since you asked for it ie. your suggestion #2, I just implemented Latest Topics / Poetry .

Now you can see 100 most latest poetry there, which means even if some poetry not available on main page because there are many new poetry, still you can see them on this page.

You can access it from main page by clicking "SEE MORE" as well as from all other pages.

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
