Dear Members, last month we had discussion over "Poetry as Stress Buster".  We saw many interesting feedback from members there. We also have Interesting verdict here.

Now this month's discussion topic is :


"What will be your new year resolution as a POET as well  as a POETRY ADMIRER."

Ofcourse new year is approaching, many people will have their new year resolution but as poet what do you think , what you want to change in your writing style, what you want to learn in poetry and more.

On the other hand, you can share what will be your new year resolution as a Poetry Admirer ?.. What kind of poetry you will prefer , what famous writer you will like to read this year or may be avoid a particular writer or style and so on.

Please share your views.

yess...there is always a large room for improvement .
I have learnt a lot from yo shayers and hope to continue to learn with the same spirit and enthusiasm...
I want my writings /poems/shayaries to be as influential and as beautiful as the writings of Robert Frost, Wordsworth and ofcourse Mirza Ghalib, Shahryar khaan !!!

I request my yo friends to correct me whenever there is a need or advise me for my writings ....! i will be highly greatful to them...!

Also i thank all members of yo india for appreciating my writings which motivated me to write more !

I make a pledge of improving myself and my writings in every bit possible way !

Happy new year to Yo Family.


Till the first half of this year I was mostly writing romantic ghazals but by the end of this year I started writing critics, social issues, motivational, philosophy, devotional and spirituality to some extent.


This year I would like to emerge as a motivational and a criticizing poet and I would like to create my image so. I will also try to continue writing on the other topics mentioned above. Also I have never quit writing romantics and love philosophy. I often include one or two romantic and/or love philosophy couplets in my ghazals and I would like to continue the same.


As a poetry admirer, as I have always been doing, I would continue to appreciate good work in a good way so that the writer feels paid for it, and criticize the faults in writing. This year I would like to be more open at criticizing and along with criticizing I would try to correct the writer and help them to improve their writing from what ever knowledge I have gained here.


And about poets- Munawwar Rana, Rahat Indauri, Bashir Badr, Dushyant Kumar and Krishna Sukumar are the poets I would like to read this year and learn from their writing.


On YoIndia 'Zarra' and 'VB' are the new writers along with the existing- SKSaini, F.H.Siddiqui, mkv and Satish Shukla Raqeeb etc. whose creations I would never like to miss. However there are some emerging writers also like- 'Bishwajeet Musahib' and 'Sahal' to be noticed.

First of all "A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014" to all my YOINDIA friends.
The new year resolution for me is to express myself in more confident and true way with full honesty. I am not a great or good poet but definitely I will keep myself writing without fear and yess...there is always a large room for improvement.
I have been reading the creation of Yo Shayars who always inspire me. I hope to continue my  learning process with the same spirit and enthusiasm...
I would like to welcome critics on my writings which always give me scope for improvement.  

Once again Naye sal 2014 ki dher sari shubhkamnayein.

सबसे पहले योइंडिया के सभी सदस्यों को नव वर्ष की ढेरों शुभकामनायें....

यह एक बहुत ही सुन्दर विचार है कि इस नए वर्ष में हम लोग क्या नया करेंगे....मेरे विचार से अभी देश और दुनिया में जो परिस्थितियां हैं उनको मद्देनज़र रखते हुए हम लोगों को अपनी आवाज़ बुलन्द करनी होगी ताकि आने वाले वर्षों में एक बार फिर से हमारे देश का नाम दुनिया भर में अच्छे कामों के लिये जाना जाये.....और साथ ही साथ रूमानी ग़ज़लों की परम्परा को भी कायम रखना होगा....

 Candidly,i have not made any  special commitment  in this regard but i will keep enjoying the YOINDIA FORUM as usual by reading versatile poetry and conversation with distinct  poets.Basically ,neither a poet alive in me nor any enthusiasm to learn the norms and basics of poem,nazm,ghazal,qata etc. Yes i have an addiction developed in me because of the deadly and stunning stuff provided by this forum.
i enjoy all the segments by heart, for me its a MAST TIME PAAS.which i don't find anywhere.

agar padhne ki baat kare .. to chunki mai BACHCHAN sir ka bahut bada prashanshak raha ho.. to unki kavitaye vishesh roop se is varsh padhna chahunga.. DINKAR jee ki bhi kavya rachnaae is saal padne ki soch hai... aur fir is forum par to nitdin ek se badhkar ek rachnae aa jaati hai!!
haa lekhan shaili me bhi iss saal kuchh naye samajik vyaktitva ki abhivyakti kar..prem k atirikt vishayo  par likhne ka prayas rahega...!! kuchh puraane kaviyo se prerit rachnae bhi karna chahoongaa!

naye varsh (belated)aur gantantra divas ki aneka nek shubhkaamnayen,
resolution sirf itna-- ki is varsh gairhajiriyan kam karoon aur admin ji ko baar-baar yaad dilane ki takleef doon.
