In the coldest night, i sit alone by the fire
counting my dreams listing all my desires
gazing at the high skies and wonder
why am i burning tonight, why is my heart on fire

I speak to myself of the broken dreams
I yell out for my unspoken desire
This is not a faliure just a tough phase of life
i'll touch the skies i'll fly even higher

each flame that catches my sight
is killing, it burns me deep inside
every ash that falls on the ground
are my dead dreams no where to be found

as the river makes the way through my cheaks
i curve my lips ear to ear, i smile
survival is a battel won in itself
i'll fight till i die, ditermination is all that matters
