Only memories are left behind,
Memories... of times,happy and gay,
Of walks by the river,
Of songs together,
We sang throughout the day....

But now my voice is rough,
The words forgotten,
The melodies faded away...
I cannot think,
I cannot sing,
Now that you've gone away..
