be rukhee  lout  aayi  thee,

qafas e mohhobat main faske,
meri jaan neekal  aayi thee,

woh sanam harjaayi  nikalaa,
jisne meri rooh mitayi thee,

din mahine saal  gujare par,
woh loutke  naa  aayi  thee,

ahal e zahaa,n  roya  bohat,
jab  dastaan  sunaayi  thee,

zakham  itne  milte gaye ke,
mohhobat  rog ban aayi thee,

armaan tha didaar e yaar ka,
aakhiri ghadi jab aayi thee,

ishq karna  gunah  hai jeet,
logo ne aksr samjhaayi thee,
