ek sawaal  aaj  bhee  dil  main  aata hai,
shayad  woh  aaj  bhee  mujhe  chahta hai,

zamane  ke  chalte  majboor  ho  gaya woh,
bas  ehsaas ke  jariye  ishq  nibhata hai,

meri  zindagi se  bhale  woh  dur ho gaya,
aksr raat  khuwabo,n main  chala aata hai,

woh lout aayega ekdin  bas is  umeed main,
Lamha e tanha.  Intezaar.  main  gujrta hai,

mehsoos kartee aaj bhee uska woh ehaas jo,
saba main milkar saanso,n main samata hai,

maaff kar do abb tak kaisee gusaar hai ye,
abb tum bin jeena dushwaar saa  lagta hai,
