Aaj abroun ney kiyaa hai tarbtar mujh ko akeyley!
Kaash woh bhi saath aa bheegey mujhey aagosh mein ley!!

Aaj abroun ney kiyaa hai tarbtar mujh ko akeyley!
Kaash woh bheegaa huaa aaye, mujhey aagosh mein ley!!

Gulistaan weeraan-saa hai: jahaan khush they gul-o-bulbul;
Rahey lagtey andleeboun key jahaan par roz meyley!

Bheegatey they saath ham tab, saath jagtey , saath sotey;
Yaad aayen, kaash, us ko bhee, kabhee jo kheyl kheyley!

Saath sarmaa, saath garmaa, saath baaraan ao baharaan;
Saath pee may masarrat kee, saath gam-o-gubaar jheyley!

Jab rahaa hai saath, saathee rahey hain apney jhakorey!
Roo-b-roo sailaab-o-baad-e-tund key hain aaj reyley!!

Jahaan tak mujh ko patah hai, naheen kuchh bhee chhupaa tujh sey:
Sabhee hai, mahboob, teyraa: chaahiye jo tujhey, leyley!

Yaad kartey hee, bahee hai, itrayezee baad-e-mashriq;
Kyaa samaa ho, khileyn gar phir chameylee key saath beyley!!
