Dil kee baytaabiyaan nahi jatein
Meri baykhwabiyaan nahi jatein .

takta rehta hoon aasman e shab
ghoar tarikiyaan nahi jaatein

Dil ke ujray chaman se aakhir kion
haif! barbadiyaan nahi jaatein ,

Dushman e jaan hua he charkh e kuhan
hashr saamaniyaan nahi jatein

Garmi=e=dasht  mein jala majnoon  
Waa'N laila raniyaan nahi jatein



science ka doar he magar mazhur
Pichlee nadaaniyaan  nahi jaatein
