Ye Jo kaali raat hai yaaraa!
Chaar dinoN ki baat hai yaaraa!

Chhat geeli hai aangan sookha!
Ye kaisi barsaat hai yaara!

tum bhi chup ho main bhi chup chup!
Yeh bhi koii baat hai yaara!

Zarf kisi ka kya tole hai!
Apni apni zaat hai yaaraa!

Zabt ke aansoo har koii dekhe!
Yeh aankhoN ki maat hai yaaraa!
