Hasrat ke  tute makanon se
Ek aah si  uthi dil ke tehkhanon se

Aksar uski baatein karta hun  mein
kabhi jaam se  kabhi mehkhanon se

kab kisi ki dua kubool hoti hai yahan
Nafrat hi mili mujhko chahat ke paimanon se

Meri hasti hi kuch aisi hai mitati nahin
Mujhko mat taulo in mitti ke deewanon se

Aaine bhi dhoka khate hain yahan to
Phattar hi nikale  seeshe ki dukanon se

jala do mujhko dhunya ban jane do ab to
Dekhna phir bhi jikar hoga mera asmaanon se
