Kyun kisi aur ko dukh dard sunaaun apne,
Apni aankhon se bhi zakham chhupaaun apne,
Main toh kaayam hun tere gham ki badaulat warna…
Yun bikhar jaaun ke khud haath na aaun main aapne… tearyeyed  tearyeyed

Manzil saamne thi aur peeche uski mohabbat,
Rukti to kaamyabhi chhoot jati, chalti to zindagi rooth jaati….

Uss manzil ko bhi paana tha aur use bhi apna bnana tha,
Meri dhadkan tu hi bta uss waqt main kidhar jaati??

Saalo ki mehnat bhi thi aur khuda ki uss waqt rehmat bhi thi..
Rukti to bikhar jaati…chalti to ishq ki kahani adhoori rah jaati…

Pyaasi thi bahut main par samandar me zahar bhi tha..
Peeti to mar jaati aur na peeti to bhi zindagi se bicchad jaati…

Meri badi si mohabbat ki bass itni si kahani thi…
Kisi ko sunati to adhoori rah jaati..na sunati to ghut ghut ke mar jaati..

Maaf kaise karu use jisne mujhe tod diya tha..
Na karti to uski aakhein ashq bahati aur na karti to mere aankhein nam ho jati..

Khuda se puchna tha mujhe uski sacchai ko…par puch na saki..
Sahi hota to main jhuk jaati aur galat hota toh bhi main marr jati
