aaj dil tut gya mera koi hosla  de jata,
dard bohut hai koi mekhane ka pata de jata,

na shikwa kiya koi na hi gila kiya usne,
yuh dur jane ki humko koi wajjah de jata,

kaise jeeyenge tere bin ye sochte hai aksr,
nasur bane in zakhmo ka merhum to de jata,

in suni raaho main chore gye murat banakar,
pather dil bhi pighal jata ger aansu de jata,

koyle ki khan se sona tarashne ki ada thi meri,
mujh jaise seep ke moti ko bhi pehchan de jata,

kai hisso may bikher gye kis hisse ko sambhale,
har tareh se bejaan huye koi to saanse de jata,

aankhe band ho gyi karke uska inzaar ki ek baar
aker meri kaber par phool ka nazrana de jata,
