Eh merey jazbaa-e-dil tu aaj yun maayoos kyun ho
Agar.che zindagi hai yun mushkil maanoos kyun ho

Kuchh to zaroor hogaa asar teree iss faryaad mein
Jab chahtaa hee thaa ke aaye to maayoos kyun ho

Abb kyun aisey khoyaa khoyaa phirtaa hai tu aajkal
Jo manzil saamne aajaaye to naamaamoon kyun ho

Tu jo kehtaa thaa lutaa duun gaa dil kee sab daulat
Hazoor to abb lutaayne pe iss qadr majboor kyun ho

MohaN kuchh naaz kuchh jafaa hee to uthaanee hai
To tu apnon kaa hee aaj uthhaate mazdoor kyun ho
