पास  आने  नहीं  देते
मुस्कुराने   नहीं   देते

बोझ ज़िम्मेदारियों  के
सर  उठाने  नहीं  देते

ख्वाब नींद का मुझे दर
खटखटाने   नहीं   देते

कह चले अपनी मुझे तो
कुछ  सुनाने  नहीं देते

टूटे हुये लोग कुछ भी
आज़माने  नहीं  देते

आसमां  के  चांद  तारे
आशियाने   नहीं   देते

सुबह से शाम काम तमाम
दिल  लगाने  नहीं  देते

बिजलियों के ख़ौफ़'सरु'को
घर  बसाने  नहीं   देते
