ey haseen umang dil lutne wali tarkeeb kaha se laya hai,
woh meri khoj mein nikla tha aur tujh ko dhoond ke aaya Hai,


main phool samajh ke udha lunGa is sulagte huye angaaro Ko,
apni ankhon ki Ibaadat ka maine bas ek yahi phal paya hai,


teri yaad ko bhoola hu to meri tanhai tanha lagne lagi,is kader
faila hai chaaro or meri zindagi main gumnamiyo ka saaya hai,


kuch roz se barpe hai chaaro taraf shadi-o-gham ke hangame,
sunte hai chaman ko maali ne phoolon ka qafan pehnaya hai,


bas do pal ki mulaakat main usne jo kehar berpaya hai,
saari umer intezaar karlenge nazro ko raah per tikaya hai,


main aksr shaam hote hi tumhare hijar mein udaas rehta hu,
kai barso se yeh gham ka mosam humko dubaata aaya hai,
