                saliqaa parwaaz ka paas apne gar hotaa...,
                pahaado.N  pe phir apna basar hotaa...,


                samajhte hijr ki raat ko gar visaal-e-yaar hum,
                raah -e-intezaar mein apna safar hotaa,


                hoti gar dushmani hawa se tere shahar ki,
                raaz apna phir fiza mein nashar hotaa,


                hote jo gire ashaq tere bichdne se,
                khushq sehra phir ye bahr hotaa,


                zindagi jo na muskurati ghummo.N ke beech,
                jeena tera sheba phir ek qahar hotaa..................!!

Achchhi kaawish hai Sheba Ji. Saleeqa lafz dekh kar apna aik sher yaad aa gaya:

Nazar meiN rakh ke kisi ki nazar saleeqe se
uRaan bharne lage baal-o-par saleeqe se

Daad qubul kijiye.
