Hazaar baar tere dar pai hoke aayaa huun!
Nahin khule hain par kibaarh, roke aayaa huun!

Aik jaw ki taraf chalaa, to, ru-b-ru paayaa:
Baag hain tere itrayez, khoke aayaa huun!

Tamaam raat aik khwaab ke liye tarsaa:
Kabhi to mujhko lage, ab gayaa bulaayaa huun!

Kabhi bhi, khwaab mein bhi, wo nahin dar par aayaa;
Mujhe to aisaa ab lage hai, main paraayaa huun!

Jaagte raat kat rahi hai aaj bhi meree;
Lag rahaa hai, ki, kisee badduaa kaa saayaa huun!

‘Abd’, lage hai, ki, maange se kuchh nahin miltaa;
Wagarnaa, kyoun nahin main kuchh bhi maang paayaa huun?

While I was moving towards one horizon,I found, in front of me, that your gardens are full of fragrances; (but in place of waiting for your arrival over there) I have moved further losing that (lovely) environment behind!
