Jaagtaa hoon tamaam raat eik aahat ko,
Taaki, leykar khabar aaye hawaa, to jaan sakoon;
Woh ba'ad nisf shab-e-syaah idhar aataa hai;
Woh aaye, peishtar aamad lamhah pahichaan sakoon!!

Ek jagna tera aur ek uska jo kehta hain jagte rahoooo
khamosh tum bhi q jago chalo aaj raat se tum bhi kuch kaho
