       Tanhai khush hai…”Sahal”.

Tum agaye ho dil mein to tanhai khush hai,
Taariqi bohut hai lekin ruswai khush hai.

Deejiye kya misaal unki daghabaazi ki,
Wafa pashemaan unse bewafai khush hai.

Berukhi se unki oogte jaa rahe the kadam,
rahi mulaqaat adhori magar judai khush hai.

Chhinn gaya jab se aanchal kisi nisaa ka,
abroo naraaz hai sabse behayai khush hai.

Likhdi ghazal dubaker khoon-E-jigar mein jabse,
Kalam rooth gaya mujhse roshnai khush hai.

Poochiye na kya milgaya “sahal” Ibaadat mein,
bandagi se meri ab to dekhiye khudai khush hai.

Nisaa=aurat
Roshnai=siyahi.
Pashemaan=sharminda.
