Get Lost
A Spiritual Interpretation

According to Hindu scriptures, the sole purpose of human birth is to make effort for self realisation and get out of the cycle of birth and death. Because, its only after self-realisation that a person gets emancipation from miseries of the world.

The effect of miseries is limited to gross, subtle and causal body only in different proportions and whence a person has realised that he is Immortal Soul himself and is not connected in any manner with any of the three bodies, nothing would be able to affect him.

Now, when such a self realised soul gives up his gross body, his soul merges with Universal Soul. He goes out of the cycle of birth and death and hence becomes lost to the world. In other words, he gets lost. Getting Lost is the only way to get freedom from bondage and miseries of the world.

So, next time when someone tells you to get lost, don't get angry. Just say, "I appreciate your concern. I am trying!"
