                   marr  jaaein  bin  tere aisee bhee mohabbat kya.
                   raho saaye kee tarah tum aisee bhee qurbat kya.

                   hona mashoor kise pasand nahin jahaan mein lekin.
                   na  sakoon,  na  chain ab aisee bhee shohrat kya.

                   tabdilee  jab  tak na chaaho wahee silsilaa rahe.
                   badlo   waqt  ke  saath  aisee  bhee  aadat  kya.

                   na  ho  gar  peene-pilaane  ka  rivaaj  toh  phir.
                   rindo.n  kee  mehfil  mein aisee bhee daawat kya.

                   guzra  zamaana  woh jo khaa liya thappad hamnein.
                   rahe khuloos sab mein per aisee bhee sharaafat kya.

                   ho  taqraar  bazm  mein  toh  aaye kuch mazaa qalb.
                   marne-maarne  pe  aamaada  aisee  bhee adaawat kya.
