                          palko.n pe bithhane  ka  iraadaa nahin hai!
                          nibhaa  na sakoo.n  aisaa waadaa nahin hai!

                          nazar dekhne waalo.n ki andaaz apnaa lagaae!
                          falak  per chaand  kabhi  aadhaa nahin hai!

                          rudaad  safedposho.n  ki taariki  se poocho!
                          jo ujaale mein dikhtaa hai saadaa nahin hai!

                          khel  shatraj  kaa kuch uljhta jaa rahaa hai!
                          hain sipah-salaar sabhi koi pyaadaa nahin hai!

                          emaarato.n mein bhi baste hain khauf dekhiye!
                          mahlo.n saa inmein sher-dil shazaadaa nahin hai!

                          khariyat  jiski  bhi li  pareshaa.n nazar aaya!
