Aaj phir mausam ney lee karvat hai
  Koi liye khumaar ka jhonkha aaya hai
  
  Mere soye armaano ko ussne jagaya hai
  Naino mai soye huye sapno ko uthaaya hai

  Mera ang-ang jaise theerak rahaa hai
  Dil par ab nahi kaabu behak rahaa hai

  Aa dhoop malu mein tere gaallon mai
  Geet madhur ye koi gunguna rahaa hai

  Dil me mere fir aaj pyaar ankurit ho rahaa hai
  Aaj phir jaane tammanaa mujhe ye kya ho rahaa hai

kisi ke kareeb aane ke khayaal se hi machalne lagi ho,

kuch to hai aisa khaas ki tum aaj morni ban jhoom rahi ho,
kuch to hai aisa khaas ki tum aaj baawli si ho rahi ho,

kya ye kisi ke mohabbat ka asar hai tumpe ya kuch aur,
kaho na , kiske khayaal se aaj tum fir tum si lag rahi ho...
