kitne armaan soche honge mare peda hone ki khushi main mari maa ne                    

jab main aaya is duniya main kitne sapne sajaye honge mari maa ne ,                

apni neede uda kar mughe sulaya karti hai,                                            

mari har ek nadaani par khushi dikhayi mari maa ne,                        

jab bhi main roya to mughe chup karane ko khud nadani dikhayi mari maa ne,        

jab bhi main bimaar hua ro ro kar aankhe sujayi mari maa ne,                

shayad main bhool gaya tha maa ka aanchal,                                          

jaha mane sokar raate gujari,                                

aaj mare intzaar main aankhe tikaayi mari maa ne,
