Basant bahar ke aane se
Dali dali jhoom uthhi
Dharti ke aanchal pe
Rango ki barat sajee

Abhinay karti kaliya hain
Sanket milan ka deti hain
Koyal meethi kook sunaye
Premi ko apne pass bulaye

Amua pe aayee baurai
Chanda barsaye sheetal chandni
Premika khari dware pe
Intejar kare saj dhaj ke

Phoolo se beni ko sajaye
Mathe pe bindiya lagaye
Pyar usspe nyochhavar karegi
Pooja ki thali liye hath mein

Hriday ki dharkan badhti
Milan ki anubhuti hoti
Galo ki lalima badh jati
Laj ke mare aankhe band hoti

बसंत बहार के आने से
डाली डाली झूम उठी
धरती के आँचल पे
रंगों की बारात सजी

अभिनय करती कलियाँ हैं
संकेत मिलन का देती हैं
कोयल मीठी कूक सुनाये
प्रेमी को अपने पास बुलाये

अमुआ पे आयी बौराई
चंदा बरसाए शीतल चांदनी
प्रेमिका खड़ी द्वारे पे
इन्तेजार करे सज-धज के

फूलो से बेनी को सजाये
माथे पे बिंदिया लगाये
प्यार उसपे न्योछावर करेगी
पूजा की थाली लिए हाथ में

ह्रदय की धड़कन बढती
मिलन की अनुभूति होती
गालों की लालिमा बढ़ जाती
लाज के मारे आँखे बंद होती
