ae rabb tere dar oe mere dil ki pyaas bujane aya hoon,
ek bewaffa ko toh sahi apne pyaar ko badnam karne aya hoon...

na jane kitne dilon ko tabah kiya hoga uss behaya ne,
ae rabb tere dar pe main uske liye ansuon ka tofa mangne aya hoon...

aaj bhi humare ansu namak ki tarha humare ghavon ko taaza kar dete hai,
ae rabb tere dar pe khud ke ansuon ko pak banane aya hoon...

ek gunhegaar hoon main jisse mafi toh kya maut bhi nahin milni chahiye,
ae rabb tere dar pe apne aap ko nilam karne aya hoon...

thukra dia humne unko jinpe pyaar ki barsat honi chahiye the,
ae rabb tere dar pe main kisi ke ansuon ko kam karne ki fariyad lekar aya hoon...

bheegi palkon se dekta hoon ek bewaffa ko tere pas ake pyar mangte hue,
ae rabb tere dar pe main ek bewaffa ko saza dene aya hoon...

dekha nahin jata humse ke woh has has ke ghumein iss jahan main,
ae rabb aaj main ek bewaffa ko dil se rulane aya hoon...
