                                  bahut   dair  se,  magar  lauta!
                                  bhatkta    hua    ghar    lauta!

                                  pahchaan duniya se kara ke apni!
                                  halaat se  wo  ba-khabar  lauta!

                                  shiqwa  nahin  koi  nazar  mein!
                                  har  manzar  se  be-asar  lauta!

                                  ho  kar  aashna   maut   se  wo!
                                  le  kar  zindagi  ka  dar lauta!

                                  rahi raat bhi apne shabaab mein!
                                  saath  chaandni  ke qamar lauta!

                                  tohmat shamsheer pe munasib nahin!
                                 lekar MARHOOM jo khoon-e-jigar lauta!
