Karyalay aate jaate
Roj ek raste se gujarta hoon
Kuchh Cheeje bhali, kuchh buri
Kuchh lubhavani si pata hoon

Ek cheej jo na badli hai
Na kabhi shayad badal payegi
Har chaurahe par deen vivash
Bhikhariyo ki toli badhti jayegi

Roj ek bujurg deen asahay sa
Mailee dhoti kandhe pe jhola latkata sa
Har garee ka sheesha vo khatkhatata
Hath dono daya ke philaye hota sa

Vo bujurg bhi ye janta
Bheekh magna abhishap hai
Leki deen aur daridrta
Usska sabse bara hathiyar hai

Vahi chuarahe par ek bhudha jora
Har aane vale se mangta hai
Aur kuchh na milne par
Jam kar abhishap bhi deta hai

Doosre churahe par vahi najara
Purush godd mein bachha liye hota hai
Usski stri karuna ras mein
Bachhe ki jindagi ke liye mangti rehti hai

Mahila ke mukh se itni karuna
Jab jab barasti hai
Achhe achhe kalakaro ko
Toh mano peechhe chhor deti hai

Kuchh bhikhariyo ke hath mein
parche bahut hote hain
Har bhasha mein unmein
Appeal bari likhi hoti hai

Hum ghire aapda mein
na koi sahara hai
Bhikhari nahi hum, help karo
Parcho mein likha hota hai

Har garee ke sheeshe mein
Bas apna panja marte hain
Aur kuchh na milne par
Gande hatho ki chhap sheeshe mein chhorte hain

Bina mehnat ke ye sab
Bahut kuchh kamate hain
Aur sham ko milkar
Vahi rupye nashe mein urate hain
