Kuch likhna chathi hoon magar alfaz hi nahi milte
Kuch kehna chathi hoon to kya karoon jazbaat hi nahi milte
Aah ke bethe hai kab se teri mehfil main
Sab ko dekha tume magar
Hume hi tumari nazron ke voh sugaat nahi milte

Doondte rehe har jagah usse par voh kahi nahi mila
Jo hum dekhna chathe hai voh nazare nahi milte
Kuch berang si ho gaye yeh jindgani meri
Kuch rang bharna chathe hai par voh sitare hi nahi milte
Tanha bethe hai akele ho ke is jahan main hum
tanhayi door kar sake jo hamari
Kyon aise voh kinare hi nahi milte

ek din aake tumse kuch is tarha hum mil jaayenge,
ki baagon me phool gulaab k fir se khil jaayenge,

mehfil k har rang aake tumse is tarha mil jaayenge,
ki dil ke tumhaare armaa fir se machal jaayenge,

itne rang bhar denge hum aake tumhaari zindagi me,
ki tumhaare jeewan ke sab rang satrangi ban jaayenge,

na jaayenge tab ek pal ke liye bhi hum tumse duur,
tab hamaari saanse tumhaare saanso se mil jaayenge,

gaayenge hum har geet tab bas saath ek dusre ke,
aur hamaare har ek shabd tab ghazal ban jaayenge....
