raat ki tanhai main baate ki taaro se,
fir bhi ye ehsaas kam nahi hote hai,

daau,o main maanga tughko,maine akser,
fir bhi ye faasle kam nahi hote hai,

jaam se karke dosti koshish ki muskurane ki,
fir bhi ye aansu kam nahi hote hai,

khowaabo ki kitaab ko kora karte gaye hum,
fir bhi ye khiyaal kam nahi hote hai,

bohut samghaya is dil e nadaan ko,
fir bhi ye zajbaat kam nahi hote hai,

tadap tadap ke sunaya hai dard mahfil main,
fir bhi ye bedard lamhe kam nahi hote hai,

usne kuredaa mare zakhmo ko hum sehte gaye,
fir bhi ye katal e aam kam nahi hote hai,
