hai khud ke etmaad mein damm.
phir kaahe ka hai tujhe ghamm.

matt soch hanse ge loagg tujh pe.
hai ye bass ek jhoota vahamm.

kabhi kabhi jhoot bol diya kar.
hain yahaan waise sabhi besharam.

rakh apni baat tu bhi bazm mein.
ho gar koi ghazal ya koi nazam.

kis aazadi ki talaash hai qalb.
toad de ab tu apne bharam.
